I am a painter who currently makes small scale oil paintings on canvas and wood panels. I enjoy painting plein air as well as spending time in the studio. My landscapes are inspired by local areas because I like to have an attachment of some kind to what I paint. Painting areas that I walk or drive by often is always an interesting exploration. I also love creating still life compositions in my studio using set ups that allow me to work out ideas through color and theme.
